Support the institution behind the work

Help NIAAH build the leadership, operations, partnerships, and evidence needed for sustained African American health work.

Organizational capacity

An investment in NIAAH’s next stage

We seek founding institutional partners who can help strengthen NIAAH Scholars, develop NIAAH Certified, and build NIAAH Family Care. Flexible and multiyear support can give these connected areas a dependable organizational foundation.

Support for institutional capacity helps fund the people and systems that make delivery possible. A defined initiative can also be supported with an appropriate share of its organizational costs.

Three ways to build with us

Flexible institutional support

Support executive leadership, program coordination, financial administration, partnership development, technology, communications, and evaluation infrastructure.

Discuss an institutional commitment with milestones and reporting appropriate to its scope.

Program strengthening and development

Support Scholars mentoring, certification development, or Family Care research, toolkit design, and pilot preparation.

Each commitment should identify its development stage, delivery costs, responsible lead, and expected outputs.

Institutional implementation

Explore a defined engagement in an institutional setting, subject to readiness and an agreed scope.

Pricing, participant access, staffing, evaluation, and maintenance requirements must be established before delivery.

Define the commitment together

A prospective supporter should be able to understand the purpose, population, period, budget, responsible people, and evidence expected from an investment. In an institutional conversation, we will identify what is established, what requires development, and what depends on funding or partner participation.

Request current organizational and financial information directly from leadership. The availability and scope of requested materials will be confirmed during that conversation.

This page invites funding conversations. Gift terms, restrictions, payment instructions, and receipt arrangements must be confirmed directly with NIAAH before funds are sent.
